Founder / R & D
Ken was originally introduced to laser therapy after hitting a tree on a snowboard and having surgery on both knees. A year after the surgery, it was still hard to walk downstairs. Ken was going to an acupuncturist to help with his knees when she got a new Apollo Laser. The results were so miraculous that Ken started research the technology and found so much conflicting information that he started ColdLasers.Org to publish unbiased summary info to help other learn about lasers and PhotoBioModulation (PBM). This eventually transitioned into a full-time job. For many years, people asked about whole-body pods that would be safer and lower operating cost than laser therapy. Then when a major laser manufacturer came out with a under-engineered pod This motivate Ken to work with a great team to create a well-engineered pod that leverages the best technology from the laser industry. After building and installing pod in many locations, the team realized that someone needed to develop the whole solution to get more people using the pods. Lighthouse Health is the result of the journey.
